Otis Warren is the new Vice President of Sales for the new talk radio station, KBLA Talk 1580 in Los Angeles. Tavis Smiley put the station on the air Juneteenth 2021 billing it as an "Unapologetically Progressive" talk station for the African American listening audience.

Radio & TV personality Sam Alex’s media masterclass Camp Broadcast was featured on ABC's GMA3. The network also interviewed two of his campers from last summer who are now working in the industry. Camp Broadcast will be in Chicago next week.

Thursday night between 7 and 8 p.m. Eastern, syndicated radio host Kim Komando will appear on The News with Shepard Smith on CNBC. Komando is scheduled to talk about food loyalty programs data tracking, why they are hot and the good, bad and ugly about them.
50 Years On NYC Radio
Dennis Elsas marks 50 years on New York radio this month. Elsas started on overnights at NYC Heritage Station WNEW-FM in 1971; and will celebrate his golden anniversary on WFUV; where he has been on the air for more than 20 years.

WYEP, Pittsburgh’s community-supported adult alternative album station, has named Liz Felix as the station’s new program director. She joined the station in 2019.
