Sounds of Summer Pandora station will feature summertime songs that will take listeners on a sonic roadtrip across the United States. The various modes will feature music and personalities from various cities and regions playing the music and talking about summer time.

1080 News Talk WTIC (WTIC-AM) in Hartford, is set to feature all-Local daytime programing starting June 21. The Audacy station has added New England media vet Tom Shattuck to the revamped lineup.

Spanish Broadcasting System announced on Wednesday that it has named Albert Rodriguez to the position of President of SBS, succeeding Raúl Alarcón, who has served in that capacity since 1985.

Data shared with the industry on Wednesday from Edison Research’s Share of Ear shows that 47% of all Americans age 13 and older now subscribe to at least one paid audio service. Thats over double what the total was in 2015, when 23% had a paid subscription.

Former WNYC reporter Fred Mogul says he was wrongly terminated from the station and has filed a defamation and wrongful termination lawsuit. Mogul says he included two sentences of AP copy in a draft version of his story, it was never included in the final story, and he believed he was following WNYC's style guide.
