WJMK-FM is now "The New 104.3 JAMS, Chicago’s #1 for Throwbacks." The previous format was Classic Hits. To kick off the new format, the station is airing 10,000 songs in a row.

Radio listeners have once again shown that they have big hearts. The 93.3 WMMR-FM (Philadelphia) Preston & Steve Show’s 13th Annual “I Bleed For Preston & Steve Blood Drive” produced 1,128 units of blood (including 147 Power Red donations) to benefit the American Red Cross Penn-Jersey Blood Services Region.

White Communication's Classic Hits 107.9 (KZRS) in Great Bend, KS has signed a multi-year agreement to broadcast the Kansas City Chiefs. The station will also air pre-game and post-game shows, Chiefs Kingdom, and Minute with Mitch.

Perhaps seeing enough of the battling between the press, the President, and Congress, NAB CEO Gordon Smith has voiced his opinion about a free press in an op-ed piece in Broadcasting & Cable. Smith, a former Senator from Oregon, has a unique perspective on the topic, having been frustrated by the media when in public life.

The Green Bay Packers and iHeartMedia announced on Thursday that 97.3 The Game WRNW-FM will become the Milwaukee home for the Packers Radio Network, beginning in the 2022 season. The Packers are moving from WTMJ-AM, a station they've been with in Milwaukee since 1929.
