White Communication’s Classic Hits 107.9 (KZRS) in Great Bend, KS has signed a multi-year agreement to broadcast the Kansas City Chiefs. The station will also air pre-game and post-game shows, Chiefs Kingdom, and Minute with Mitch.
KZRS will start airing the Chiefs games in August. The station recently changed to a Classic Hits format after KZRS’ sale closed in March, and will also continue to broadcast Kansas State football and basketball games.
“We have wanted the Chiefs on our stations for many years,” said General Manager Mike McKenna. “Our late owner and former voice of the Royals Fred White and his wife and current owner Barbara White always wanted the Chiefs, Royals, KU and K-State sports on their stations and today we have made that vision come true.”
