iHeartMedia is expanding its presence in the metaverse with an update to their Roblox land. The brand is offering new interactive features and music experiences, while players try to build and run their own radio stations. iHeart launched iHeartLand in the popular metaverse universe in 2022.

Legendary St. Louis Cardinals radio broadcaster and former player Mike Shannon passed away on Saturday, April 29 at the age of 83, the Cardinals report. Shannon spent over 60 years with the Cardinals organization, including 50 as a member of the team's radio broadcasts.

The National Association of Broadcasters has announced the results of the 2023 NAB Radio Board of Directors elections. Each elected board member's two-year term will begin in June. Radio serves the odd numbered districts, while even numbered district board members come from television.
