Legendary WMGK-FM Morning Personality John DeBella has been named among the 2023 Walk of Fame inductees. The Walk of Fame is the work of The Philadelphia Music Alliance, a community-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Philadelphia’s rich musical legacy.

The percentage of the 18+ Black population who are monthly podcast listeners has increased nine points from 2020 to 2022, outpacing the growth among the total U.S. population. That's according to new data from Edison Research.

National Public Radio has elected Stephen George to the NPR Board of Directors as a Member Director. George is President and CEO of Louisville Public Media, where he previously served as executive editor. He fills an unexpired term vacancy and will serve for three years.

Cumulus Media has hired Jesse James to host mornings on Country Station KUBL-FM in Salt Lake City. He'll debut in mid-March and a search is on for his co-host.
