SummitMedia has promoted Diamond Tyleir to host weeknights on its rhythmic CHR station WBHJ (95.7 FM) in Birmingham. Prior to the promotion, Tyleir had been working weekends at the station. She joined SummitMedia in 2019.

The College Radio Foundation has launched the College Radio Society, a national organization for college radio students, alumni and supporters. Membership starts at $3 a month, and members are encouraged to participate in the society's Facebook group.
WBYT Collects 10,000 Letters for Troops
Federated Media's country station WBYT (100.7 FM, B100) in Elkhart, Indiana collected more than 10,000 letters for members of the armed services over the holiday. The collection was part of the station's 2nd annual 10,000 for the Troops campaign.

Federal regulators have settled with Google and iHeartMedia over a marketing promotion concerning a Google-made smartphone. As part of the settlement, iHeartMedia and Google will pay more than $9 million in penalties over deceptive marketing.
Armstrong & Getty Raise $820,000 for Charity
iHeartMedia's Sacramento-based talk show Armstrong & Getty raised more than $820,000 to benefit the Warrior Foundation Freedom Station during a recent radiothon. It was the ninth year the hosts raised money for the charity.
