Audacy New York has announced contract extensions for Karen Carson, Johnny Mingione, and Anthony Malerba, the co-hosts of Karen Carson in the Morning on NEW 102.7 (WNEW). Karen Carson, originally from New Jersey, has been on the air in New York City since 1996.
She previously co-hosted at WLTW Lite FM and has had a career that includes stints at KOST in Los Angeles, as well as WAXQ and WKTU. Native New Yorker Johnny Mingione started his career as an intern for Jimmy Fallon and Regis & Kelly, gaining fame for his viral videos and parody songs. Intern Anthony, known for his impressions and passion for home-borough Brooklyn, serves as an on-air talent and executive producer for the show.
Karen Carson was also on the air at WPAT AM and FM in the past as well.
