When was the last time an FM signal sold for a few thousand dollars? 3,000-watt WLPW-FM (105.5), licensed to Lake Placid, NY (market 148), is being sold for $32,000 by Radio Lake Placid Inc. The buyer is North Country Radio Inc. and the broker for the deal was Jason James of Patrick Communications.

Michael Costa is nailed for his pirate radio station at 89.9, "The Juice Broadcasting Network," in Providence. And Maglie Plaismond in Cranston, Rhode Island, was told to shut down an operation at 97.9-FM.
