Atlanta Classic Rock station Rock 100.5 WNNX has signed the Bailey and Southside morning show for three more years. Jason Bailey and Southside Steve Rickman became on-air partners two years ago when their morning show launched on Rock 100.5 WNNX.

Manetta is now Promotions Manager for the company’s five radio stations in Des Moines, IA. She joins Cumulus Des Moines from Cumulus Topeka, KS, where she has served as Promotions Director since 2017.

KIOZ-FM in San Diego has renewed its agreement with The Show to continue hosting mornings on the Active Rock station. The Show, featuring Eddie Pappani, Sky Williams, Tylhor “Thor” Dodd, and Emily Griffiths has been entertaining San Diego audiences during morning drive since 2010.
Fired Host: Miami Station Cut His Show For “Sounding Very Latino”
Miami journalist Carlos Frías has filed a federal complaint against his former radio station claiming racial discrimination. WLRN, an NPR member station run by Miami-Dade County Public Schools, fired Frías and his show staff on February 2.

Lisa Worden Gets VP’d And More In LA
The radio vet has been named Vice President of Programming for iHeart’s ALT 98.7, “LA’s New Alternative.” She was also named Alternative Rock Brand Manager for iHeartMedia’s National Programming Group. Worden was previously APD and MD for KROQ-FM in LA, first joining the station as its Music Director in 1995.
Pai Thanks Broadcasters
On Monday FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai praised radio and TV broadcasters for continuing to inform the public during the coronavirus crisis. He specifically highlighted the PSA's stations were airing, COVID-19 reporting and the fundraising being done for those hardest hit by the pandemic.
