In fact, this is an article about how digital advertising is different than radio and your role is selling the effectiveness of radio in a positive way and reserving the right to educate your clients on digital.

Connoisseur Media announced last week that co-founder and CFO Michael Driscoll is stepping down at the end of the year. Driscoll has been the CFO of the Company since 2004 and has been working with CEO Jeff Warshaw for more than 25 years. Oliver Price takes over as CFO on January 1.

Noalmark Broadcasting Corporation, owners  of KKBE AM/FM in Roswell, New Mexico, has flipped to Regional-Mexican after stunting with Christmas music for a month. The station is now KBIM AM 910. They also have an FM translator for the format at 93.7

Regional Radio Group, based in Glens Falls, NY raised $85,000 for Operation Santa Claus. More than a thousand kids will have a merrier Christmas because of the effort.

Chubb Rock’s programs "Diggin' In Tha Crates" and "Authentic Caribbean" have been added to the CKFG-FM Toronto line-up. The programs are syndicated by United Stations Media Networks and distributed in Canada by Orbyt Media.

Jared Merves is joining Cumulus Media as Senior Vice President, Digital. Merves was most recently Chief Revenue Officer of Distributed Media Lab.

New Hampshire Public Radio’s “Pandemic Diaries: One Couple's Story of Isolation and Love in a Nursing Home” is among the 2021 winners in the Third Coast/Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition.

Superadio Network is offering a "Radio Bassment" Special for New Years's Eve. The free two-hour program will be Hosted by DJ E-Rock along with co-host Diana Michelle.

The Martha Quinn Show will debut nationwide on January 10. The midday show will launch on over 35 stations. Quinn was one of the original VJs when MTV launched in 1981. She joined iHeart in 2016 as the host of the Martha Quinn Morning Show on KOSF in San Francisco.

“The Morning JAB” with Dave 'Shoe' Schumacher and Joe Palmieri has picked up three Maine Association of Broadcasters Awards. The show is heard on Sports Radio WJJB.
