The Martha Quinn Show will debut nationwide on January 10. The midday show will launch on over 35 stations. Quinn was one of the original VJs when MTV launched in 1981. She joined iHeart in 2016 as the host of the Martha Quinn Morning Show on KOSF in San Francisco.

“The Morning JAB” with Dave 'Shoe' Schumacher and Joe Palmieri has picked up three Maine Association of Broadcasters Awards. The show is heard on Sports Radio WJJB.

iHeartMedia employees in New York state were told they have until December 27th to prove they have been vaccinated for COVID-19. A memo went out to employees citing New York City, New York State and Federal vaccine mandate requirements.

Christmas came early for a Salem Radio listener in Benton, Arkansas. Skylar Oswalt will have her mortgage paid in 2022 after winning Salem's Christmas Mortgage Miracle nationwide sweepstakes. Salem had over 1 million content entries.

Chicago media writer Robert Feder reports that a court ruling Wednesday will allow a lawsuit alleging an unwelcome sexual relationship against former WTMX-FM host Eric Ferguson to move forward. A judge denied Ferguson's motion to dismiss. Ferguson quit The Mix back in October after several allegations of sexual misconduct. Read Feder HERE.

Fort Wayne on-air host Barb Richards is retiring after 45 years in radio. She's been with WAJI-FM since 1984. Wednesday was declared Barb Richards Day by a local County Commissioner. The CBS-TV affiliate has a nice piece on Barb's retirement HERE.

Lotus' KPLZ-FM in Seattle announced that Lisa Adams has been hired as PD. Adams, a Pacific Northwest native, has worked in Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Portland, Boise and Seattle. She most recently worked for Cumulus in Boise as program director and midday host.

Maui based Musical Starstreams is celebrating 40 years. The ethereal, spacey, ambient, chill music mix was first heard in San Francisco.

West Virginia Radio Corporation, has announced that it will rebrand the company as WVRC Media. The 80-year-old-company operates 33 radio stations in six-markets in West Virginia and Maryland.
