The NAB has named Alex Siciliano as Senior Vice President of Communications. Siciliano served more than a decade in the House and Senate. He replaces Ann Marie Cumming who announced she was leaving the NAB earlier this week.

The PD believes the way to more revenue is higher ratings from stronger content and long commercial breaks does not increase the ratings.

The Academy of Radio Arts and Sciences of America announced back in January that KDKA News Radio in Pittsburgh was the recipient of the 2023 World Radio Day Award. The award was presented to Audacy Market Manager Michael Spacciapolli and KDKA Brand Manager David LaBrozzi on Tuesday.
Cataldi To End His Show This Week
Longtime WIP-FM Philadelphia morning host Angelo Cataldi's final broadcast will be Friday after 31 years on the sports talk station. Cataldi announced in October 2021 that he would retire after the Eagles 2022 season. He began the show back in 1989. The host is 71 years of age.
