WAMU 88.5 , Washington’s NPR news station has announced a multiyear plan to reshape its news division to provide more in-depth, local news coverage. The upgrade includes the addition of eight new full-time news positions.
Audacy Partners With BetMGM
Audacy and BetMGM have agreed to a multi-year deal designating the sports betting and gaming platform as the preferred sports betting partner with Audacy. Under the agreement, BetMGM also will receive preferred access to Audacy talent.
Honors For WSGW
100.5/790 Newsradio WSGW have been named Medium Market Station of the Year by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. This is the seventh time the Saginaw stations have won the award.

Texas Morning Host Arrested For Sexual Assault
47- year old Justin Frazell was arrested last week, charged with sexually assaulting a teenager at his home during a New Years Eve party. Frazell, who worked at Country station KFWR-FM in Fort Worth since 2000, was fired Monday. He also worked at KLIF-AM in Dallas.

New Tennessee Sports Partnership
Sports Talk 104.5 The Zone/WGFX-FM in Nashville is partnering with A to Z Sports. The agreement puts together the two sports entertainment brands to share and develop content on–air and across multiple digital platforms.
