WDET Detroit Gets Grant
Detroit’s NPR Station, WDET has been given a Kresge Foundation Grant to help replace the transmitter. Kresge’s grant of $150,000 complements more than one thousand donations from listeners during the station’s on-air spring fundraiser.

Nielsen: March Was Good For Radio
According to the ratings firm, the March PPM survey showed that radio experienced " significant gains" in listening, an 8% increase month-over-month in total AQH audience. Nielsen reports the increase was the largest single-month increase in average audience since last June.

On May 6th the Westwood One Podcast Network will become the Cumulus Podcast Network. Cumulus made the name change announcement Wednesday. Suzanne Grimes, EVP Corporate Marketing and President of Westwood One, will retain responsibility for the network.
