Who Won at The NABOB Conference This Year?

The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters has once again recognized key figures within media, policy and advertising with awards. This year’s awards presentation was part of a virtual hybrid event during the organizations Fall Management Conference.

Among those honored this year: Doug Ray, Global Chief Product Officer, Dentsu International; Alva Adams-Mason, Multicultural Business Alliance and Dealer Relations, Toyota Motors USA; and Congressman G.K. Butterfield.

Recipients of the NABOB & Power of Urban Radio Awards are selected based on their public service and their support of diversity and inclusion.

NABOB member stations celebrating historical milestones of achievement were also recognized: WHUR 96.3 (50 Years), Davis Broadcasting (35 Years), and Carter Broadcast Group; includes the oldest African-American owned radio station (71 Years).
