Indiana sports broadcasting legend Sam Simmermaker has announced his retirement at the age of 92, after a 64-year career with White River Broadcasting in Columbus. Simmermaker's final daily sports updates will air on May 24.

Steve Kalman in the new LSM at 98.7 ESPN in New York. Most recently Kalman managed play-by-play sales at WFAN. After spending more than a decade in the trade events business, Kalman left his last role as a VP at Reed Exhibitions in 2005 and moved into managing sports broadcast media sales. He's led and managed broadcast play-by-play sales teams for the NY Mets, NY Giants, and NY Yankees. He also spent two years as GSM at a rock station in Connecticut.

Jeff Adams has been named GM for Hometown Broadcasting's Portsmouth, Ohio, stations WNXT-FM, WNXT-AM, and WZZZ-FM. Adams spent the past seven years with West Virginia Radio as operations manager of their seven-station cluster in Charleston, and most recently, station manager of their threestations in Martinsburg.
