Pacific Media Group has hired Maui native Kehaulani Cerizo as a senior news writer for Maui Now, one of PMG’s three digital news platforms. Cerizo worked nearly 15 years as a news reporter, copy editor and features editor at daily newspapers on Maui and in San Diego.

Report: Savage Mugged In San Francisco
Rich Lieberman is reporting that Michael Savage was confronted and physically attacked Tuesday night after eating dinner at Servino's Restaurant in Tiburon, CA. The report says the mugger kicked Savage's dog then threw the syndicated talker to the ground.

Guthrie, McCoy, And Talbott Elected To Broadcasters Board
Some new blood for the board of the Broadcasters Foundation of America: Kim Guthrie, President of Cox Media Group, and DuJuan McCoy, President, Chief Executive Officer, and Founder of Bayou City Broadcasting, were voted in last week. In addition, Julie Talbott, President of Premiere Networks, was named Officer and Vice President.
KFAN’s Dan Barreiro HoF Honors
Dan Barreiro, Sports Talk Host on KFAN 100.3, has been inducted into the Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame. Barreiro has been part of the Twin Cities KFAN lineup since 1992.
Mike Scott’s New Gig
As of Monday, August 28, Scott will be the new morning show host for Swick Communications' 100.3 WLKI (Angola, IN) as well as tracking both Country and Classic hits for their Local Area Networks. Steve Swick is the owner of the facility of stations.
Hosts Resign Over COVID Coverage
KID Newsradio, Idaho Falls morning team Neal Larson and Julie Mason have resigned. The hosts of "The Neal Larson Show" left the program April 20.
