Dave Hill has been named Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeart Indianapolis. In addition, He will serve as PD for Q95 and ALT 103.3. iHeart promotes Hill to SVP in Indianapolis from Miami where he was PD for BIG 105.9 .

98.5 KFOX (KUFX-FM/San Jose) has named Karina Farias as its new Program Director. She will report to Bonneville’s Bay Area Director of Programming Operations, Brian Figula.

Brian Samborski was National Sales Manager for Greater Media for a dozen years. On Monday, Beasley announced it has hired Samborski as Regional Director of National Sales for Boston and Detroit. Samborski has been on Radio Ink's Best Managers list.

The Bobby Bones Show is celebrating four years on the air, and multi-platinum artist Thomas Rhett is supplying the tunes. Rhett, who took home “Country Artist of the Year” at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards last weekend, will treat listeners to an hour-long, in-studio concert.  He’ll be playing his hits and chatting about his life and career. It all goes down Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 7 - 8 a.m. CT.

Ray White, a veteran radio host whose nearly 50-year career spanned musical genres from coast to coast, died Sunday of cancer. White was most recently the afternoon host on CPR Classical from Colorado Public Radio. He was 69.

News Radio 810 & 103.1 WGY in Albany is bringing in Doug Goudie to co-host the morning show with Kelly Lynch. Goudie fills the vacancy created in December after former co-host Chuck Custer retired after more than 36 years with WGY.

Butler has signed a multi-year contract renewal with CBS Radio where he will continue as VP of News Programming, and PD at KYW-AM in Philadelphia. Butler advises CBS Radio's eight all-news stations across the country on on-air and digital content and strategy.

The Nebraska Broadcasters Association will welcome Otis Twelve into the NBA Hall of Fame on August 8th during the 88 th Annual NBA Convention. Established in 1972, these inductees will bring the total number of NBA Hall of Fame members to 115.

Cumulus has promoted Chris Kenney to VP/Market Manager for the company's five-station cluster in Wilkes-Barre, replacing Gerald Getz. Kenney was previously GSM for Cumulus in Harrisburg and Sales Manager for Cumulus Wilkes-Barre.
