New Seattle Soft Rock station 94.1 The Sound (KSWD-FM), announce longtime local on-air personality John Fisher as the new morning show host. The show, John Fisher, will debut on January 22 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m PT. Fisher is a Seattle radio veteran.

Vancouver’s 980 CKNW has a new morning show beginning March 30: Mornings with Simi, hosted by longtime radio personality Simi Sara. Sara grew up in Surrey, British Columbia, and spent the first 15 years of her career in television.

Bernie Weiss has been named Market President for iHeartMedia in New York City and Steve DeLusant has been elevated to Region SVP of Sales. Weiss takes over for Scott Hopeck who is now the Region and Division President for iHeart's Market Groups. 

Bruce Logan will take the helm as Ops Manager of the Hubbard Radio West Palm Beach cluster. In addition to programming responsibilities for New Country 103.1 (WIRK) and Sunny 107.9 (WEAT), Logan adds 97.9 WRMF, X102.3 (WMBX), 850 WFTL and Fox Sports 640 (WMEN). 

Wolfman Jack Entertainment and Talent Farm are re-launching programs from one of the greatest DJ's of all time. Listeners will be able to enjoy Wolfman shows that have not been heard in decades.

Cox Media Group in Atlanta has hired Michael Baisden as afternoon drive host on KISS 104.1 FM. He starts January 16. SupeRadio is syndicating the program starting in January. KISS in Atlanta will be the flagship station. An earlier version of this story incorretly stated that Cox would be syndicating the show.

Imaging company Benztown has hired radio icon Rick Dees’ longtime personal producer Michael “Motion” Ramos as in-house Audio Producer. In addition, Benztown has promoted Kevin Horton, Imaging & Production Director – JACK Radio Network, Flashback, and Adrenaline, to the newly created position of Director of Network Programming.

Kelly Harlow is the new Digital Sales Manager/Local Sales Manager for Cumulus Media-Indianapolis. She was Sales Representative for the cluster from 2008-2012.

iHeart Media says it has tapped Andrew Colton to host its morning show at Miami news-talk station WIOD (610 AM). He will start at the station in early January 2023.
