Hubbard Radio Chicago’s WTMX-FM and The New She 100.3  WSHE have announced a slate of on-air changes. As a result of the changes there will be no jobs lost. Here are the changes.

The Mentoring & Inspiring Women in Radio Group Mildred Carter Mentoring Program’s Class of 2020 has been announced. Four candidates from the radio industry in sales, marketing, programming and digital disciplines have been selected.

Grisel Barajas, Program Director for Urban One's WNOW (LaGrande 105.1) in Indianapolis, died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday.  She was riding with her boyfriend, who was the driver. He survived the crash. Barajas ws only 31 years old.

RadioAnimal Media Strategies has added former radio programmer Rob Morris to its consulting team. Morris' resume includes VP of Programming for CBS Radio in Tampa and Miami and PD at KDWB in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Hometown Broadcasting in Wisconsin announced on its website that a tragic kayaking accident over the weekend took the life of Tami McCauley, who listeners knew as Lexi Young. McCauley was kayaking with her sister Saturday, on the Mecan River, when something went wrong and she drowned.

Big D has joined The Big 98, New Country in Nashville. He takes over the afternoon drive slot on the iHeartMedia Country station.

Valentine in the Morninghas been launched on MOViN' 107.7 in Norfolk. The iHeart syndicated show originates in LA.

Tamron Hall will host the 2020 NAB Leadership Foundation Celebration of Service to America Awards. The hour-long event will be pre-recorded and available on line and for radio and TV broadcast in August.

One year after launch, Ramsey Network’s program “The Ken Coleman Show” is now heard on 50 stations, including stations in Chicago, Seattle, Las Vegas, Denver and Cleveland.
