The music director of "88Nine," a Milwaukee noncommercial eclectic Adult Alternative FM, has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Results Broadcasting Education Grant from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Foundation.

In a move Red Apple Audio Networks attributes to listener and affiliate demand, the nationally syndicated Anthony Cumia Show will be expanding from two hours to the more-established three-hour time frame, starting May 4.

Nationally syndicated talk radio host Joseph Pagliarulo, known to listeners as "Joe Pags," is launching a new podcast through a partnership with Salem Media Group.  “Unshaken and Unafraid” will feature exclusive interviews, along with "bold commentary, and behind-the-scenes insight into the stories the mainstream won’t touch."

They first found fame as the morning hosts of KRQQ-FM 93.7 in Tucson and, thanks to that success, relocated to KZZP-FM, today a sibling of "KRQ" owned by iHeartMedia. They then entered national syndication via iHeartMedia-owned Premiere Networks. Now, “The Johnjay & Rich Show” has been selected for a MSBC honor.

William Choate, known to listeners as "Cadillac Jack," has died as a result of a heart attack, his ex-wife has posted to social media. Tributes are pouring in from former colleagues. Choate in February 2017 suffered a heart attack that led to the installation of three stents to clear a blockage to one side of his heart.

Audacy Inc. has agreed to a multi-year extension of its broadcast partnership with the University of Oregon. Under the renewed multiplatform agreement, KFXX-AM "1080 The Fan" in Portland, Ore., will continue as the flagship radio station for Oregon Ducks football, men’s basketball and baseball.
