Nikki Preston is making the long trip back from SoCal to her Western New York roots. She joins Audacy Buffalo’s Kiss 98.5 (WKSE) for mornings alongside Nicholas Picholas and Wease. The Rochester native started her media career as a host on Stephens Media Group’s 94.1 The Zone (WZNE).
She would go on to California to produce and co-host the Jesse Duran Show on KOLA 99.9 in San Bernardino and The Dana and Jayson Show on Audacy’s ALT 94.9 in San Diego. She most recently hosted middays on KCAL 96.7 until Anaheim Broadcasting laid off the station’s entire airstaff when the Inland Empire station moved to a no-jock format.
Audacy Regional VP Sue O’Neil stated, “We are excited to welcome Nikki Preston to Audacy Buffalo. Her on-air, podcast experience makes her a strong addition to mornings. We look forward to teaming her up with Nicholas and Wease to wake up listeners every day.”
Preston commented, “I’m beyond excited to be returning to Western New York after more than a decade on-air in Southern California. I can’t thank Sue O’Neil and the entire team enough for welcoming me back and allowing me to get behind the mic and do what I love, in a place that has always felt like home.”
