Hats off to Townsquare Media’s stations in Sioux Falls, SD. On Thursday, March 2, and Friday, March 3, HOT 104.7, MIX 97.3, BEE 102.7, KIKN 100.5, and KSOO 1140 AM hosted their 10th Annual “Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon” at the Sanford Children’s Hospital.

Live-streaming broadcasts and on-demand audio from all Cox and Bonneville stations are being added to Entercom's Radio.com. The announcement follows Radio.com's recent content distribution agreements with CNN and Bloomberg Media.

Grant County Broadcasters, owners of WNKR-FM in Northern Kentucky, is purchasing WNKN-FM, in Ohio, from Northern Kentucky University. WNKR CEO Jeff Ziesmann said, “Our company is pleased to maintain this heritage station as locally owned and operated. Our goal is to provide stable, high-quality, locally produced programming to the greatest number of listeners in the WNKN coverage area.

The 2022 Masters of Marketing Conference was held in Orlando last week with over 2,000 people gathering for a chance to hear from CMO's from of advertising's top brands. The Minnesota Wild and iHeartMedia Minneapolis have renewed their partnership through the 2027-28 NHL season, extending their 13-year collaboration. The agreement ensures that KFAN 100.3 will remain the official radio flagship.

Mike Juliano has joined Townsquare Media as Market President and Chief Revenue Officer of its Rockford, IL, team. He will report to Senior Vice President, Local Media, Rob Williams. 

We reported early this week that long-time broadcaster Dex Allen passed away over the weekend. Services for Allen will be held on Wednesday, May 23, at 11AM at the Village Church in Rancho Sante Fe, CA. Donations in Dex's memory can be made to: The Broadcasters Foundation and Veterans Organization Honor Flight.

It's a new multi-year agreement for the hosts of The Eric & Kathy Morning Show on WTMX in Chicago, Eric Ferguson and Kathy Hart. The Chicago natives, and Radio Hall of Famers, have been entertaining Chicago for 20 years. They also sport a Marconi for Major Market Personality. Details of their new deal were not released.

Cumulus reported net revenue of $308.8 million, down from $329.2 million in Q4 of 2014. Adjusted EBITDA of $63.0 million was down 30.3% from the quarter ended December 31, 2014. For the year, net revenue and adjusted EBITDA were $1,168.7 million and $259.1 million, down 7.5% and 21.4%, respectively, from 2014.
