Regional Radio Group, based in Glens Falls, NY raised $85,000 for Operation Santa Claus. More than a thousand kids will have a merrier Christmas because of the effort.

Kim Martinez is the new Senior Vice President and Market Manager for Entercom Portland. Martinez is an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience. Prior to her role as Vice President of Digital Sales, Martinez helped launch SmartReach Digital in 2014 for Entercom.

The Link has flipped to WLNX MIX 107.9. Radio One has acquired the station from Audacy and flipped the format to music from the '90s, 2000s and Today'.

The Broadcasters Foundation of America has announced its 2020 Leadership Awards, which are given annually in recognition of career contributions to the broadcast industry. Among those to be honored are Entercom's Weezie Kramer and CMG's Kim Guthrie.

The Radio Television Digital News Association announced the winners of the 2016 Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, and 11 CBS RADIO stations received a total of 25 of the awards.

Entercom has entered a multi-platform partnership with community-based traffic and navigation app Waze. The partnership scales across broadcast, digital, and streaming with app integrations on both Waze and Radio.com.

Entravision has promoted Jose Mateo and appointed Erika Marrero to be Vice Presidents of Audio Network Sales. For Marrero it is a return to the company, having served as Network Manager in 2012.

KTRS announced on Friday that Jon Grayson will take over the 10 a.m. to noon shift at "The Big 550" as of March 13. Grayson worked at cross-town news-talker KMOX for 16 years before leaving the station last week. Westwood One also ended Grayson's syndicated overnight show earlier this year.

Radio One's News Talk 1110AM & 99.3FM WBT in Charlotte has renewed afternoon drive host Brett Winterble in a new multi-year contract. Winterble has been with WBT since February of 2020.
