Matthew Malone is the new PD for WQMP-FM/Orlando. Prior to joining Entercom, Malone served as APD and Music Director for KCJK-FM in Kansas City.

Hubbard Radio Seattle has named Joe “Jeetz” Reder as Afternoon Drive Host at Rock 98.9 KVRQ. Jeetz spent over eight years working the airwaves for 99.9 KISW/Seattle, before moving to, wait for it, Anchorage, Alaska, where he as PD and on afternoon drive. He also had a stop in Sin City doing mornings at KXTE.

WBUZ Program Director and Brand Manager Crate Morat, known on-air as Atticus, will step into a newly created role as the Director of Music Programming at Cromwell Media Nashville. In this expanded position, Morat will also be responsible for WQZQ and WPRT-HD2.

Imaging and voiceover company Benztown has hired former Cumulus executive Mike McVay as a senior consultant.

iHeartRadio is now accessible through Siri Suggestions and Siri Voice for listeners who have iOS 12, or a newer iOS version, iPhone. They can use these Siri shortcuts to listen to music and podcasts on iHeartRadio with the shortcut feature.

Nashville Public Radio has named Jason Moon Wilkins PD of its new music discovery station which launches later this fall on 91.1 FM. Wilkins has been host of All Things Considered on 90.3 FM WPLN News.

Family Radio says it has completed the $9 million purchase of WQBU-FM from Univision Radio. The station covers portions of western Long Island and eastern New York City. Family Radio will change the call letters to WFME-FM.

SBG has announced that Chris Cruise is joining the syndication program Throwback Nation Radio. Cruise has worked mornings at 98.7 AMP Radio (WDZH-FM) in Detroit, 103.5 KISS FM (KSAS-FM) in Boise and nights at 94.1 KMPS in Seattle.
