A new report from Borrell & Associates says the challenges automotive dealers are facing with inventory shortages will not negatively impact overall advertising. However, radio will not be the beneficiary of ad growth in the category, according to the report.

Saga Communications has forged a partnership with FOX Sports Radio that culminated in this week's launch of Charlottesville's FOX Sports 102.9 FM and 1450 AM (WVAX-AM). The station will air the full network line-up of FOX Sports Radio's programs.

Radio One in Washington, D.C. has announced the reunion of Tony Perkins and Donnie Simpson. Effective January 16, The Donnie Simpson Show featuring Simpson and Perkins, can be heard on MAJIC 102.3 and 92.7 FM Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

CBS Radio's SportsRadio 94WIP in Philadelphia has a new midday show. The team of Joe DeCamara and Jon Ritchie will take over that timeslot as of Monday, October 24. The new show replaces Michael Barkann, who will remain as the primary anchor for ComcastSports Net and Ike Reese, who may be part of a new afternoon show that will be announced soon.

Sports Radio 850 (WTAR-AM)/Norfolk, VA, has a new daily lineup that includes Clay Travis’ Outkick the Coverage, The Dan Patrick Show, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, The Nick Bailey Show, and The Rich Eisen Show.

Westwood One announced several management changes on Monday. Bryan Forbes has been appointed President of Sales, replacing Steve Shaw. Forbes joins Westwood from the Katz Radio Group, where he was SVP and GM of National Sales. Westwood says Shaw is retiring to pursue his life passions in Vermont.

Pamal Broadcasting has decided to steer its Altamont, NY-based WINU 104.9 frequency towards Country music, introducing a format branded as "Big Country." The format switch gives the company two signals in competition with Townsquare Media’s heritage Country, WGNA.

El Dorado Broadcasters, which owns stations in Victor Valley, California and Yuma, Arizona has appointed Chris Fleming as the Executive Vice President for the company and GM for the company's Victor Valley stations. 

Former Denver Bronco Tyler Polumbus and Fan Broncos Insider Cecil Lammey (pictured left) will huddle up for a 9-10 a.m. weekday show on Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan (KKFN-FM). Polumbus is a Denver native and Super Bowl winner, while Lammey is a respected football analyst.
