Purtan's Salvation Army Radiothon this past Friday raised over $1.6 million for the organization's Bed & Bread Program. The money will be used to feed and shelter thousands of men, women and children in Detroit. Since Purtan started the Radiothon 33 years ago over $37 million has been raised.
