Felger Apologizes For Halladay Remarks

After a mountain of criticism about what he said about the death of former pitching great Roy Halladay, WBZ-FM Boston host Mike Felger has quickly apologized. One of the things that got Felger in hot water was saying Halladay got what he deserved. Halladay was killed in a plane crash off the coast of Florida this week leaving behind a wife and two kids. Long-time radio broadcaster Roger D. LeBrecht, known as “Don” to his friends, has passed away at age 80. He spent more than four decades in broadcasting and retired 14 years ago to his home with his wife, Thelma, in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

Trila Bumstead owns 11 stations in Astoria, Oregon, Wasilla, Alaska, and Anchorage, Alaska. She worked at the stations since 1999 when she was with New Northwest Broadcasters. And in 2011, she purchased 9 of the 11 stations when NNB went through their sales process. Bumstead is part of the upcoming Independent Warrior Special Report in the May 23rd issue of Radio Ink Magazine.
