Steve Roberts is the President of Roberts Broadcasting, which owns WRBJ-FM in Jackson, one of the two stations GeoBroadcast Solutions is testing its new Zonecasting technology on. We spoke to Roberts about why he agreed to be a test station and how it's working out for him.
Forecast 2023 Chairs Named
iHeartMedia CEO Bob Pittman has been named Honorary Chair for Forecast 2023, the 20th year for this event. Greg Ashlock, CEO/Multiplatform Group, at iHeart is this year's Radio Chair. The event will be held in New York City on November 16th and registration is now open.
Classical Music Wins The Day in Dallas
On Wednesday, the Dallas City Council unanimously approved an agreement between public radio and TV operator KERA and the City of Dallas’ Office of Arts and Culture to manage classical music station WRR-FM.
New Engineer For Stephens
Stephens Media Group has named Tommy Gray National Director of Engineering. Gray will be based at the company’s Tulsa headquarters. Gray joins Stephens from his own engineering firm in northern Louisiana.

MPR Receives Huge Anonymous Donation
Minnesota Public Radio has received a cash gift of $56 million, the largest in the organization’s 55-year history, from an anonymous donor. The funds will be used exclusively to serve "YourClassical" audiences and provide technological support for new media transmission.
