Educational Media Foundation has filled two of three positions among its contemporary Christian music radio networks: K-LOVE and Air1. Mandy Young has been named Group PD, Dan Arthur is Air1 Assistant PD and MD; and an Assistant PD for K-Love is being sought.

The Philadelphia Phillies have been offering employees buyout packages because they are cutting back due to COVID-19. Jim Jackson, who's part of the Phillies Radio Network, will not be returning. He says the team notified him he was a “luxury the organization can no longer afford in such uncertain times.”

Jeff Anderson hosted nights on KKLZ-FM in Las Vegas. He died Friday, October 9. The company says it was due to health-related complications. Anderson worked in the Las Vegas market for 25 years and was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters’ Hall of Fame in 2008.

Beasley Media Group announces Tradia McCoy has been named as the new Midday Personality at Foxy 99/WZFX-FM in Fayetteville. McCoy most recently hosted middays at WCDX-FM in Richmond.

Listeners of Eastern Iowa radio stations 105.7 KOKZ and News/Talk 1540 KXEL have stepped up to help those affected by August Derecho storms. A Derecho is a widespread, long-lived, straight-line wind storm that is associated with a fast-moving group of severe thunderstorms.

The combined podcast network of ESPN / ABC / FiveThirtyEight / National Geographic posted a new high audience of 9.3 million unique listeners. In September ESPN was home to 13 of the top 30 podcasts for unique audience, including seven of the top 15 and two of the top three.
