KSL NewsRadio 102.7 is out with the second season premier of Cold. The program continues the season one series on the Joyce Lynn Yost cold case.

In the April issue of Radio Ink Magazine, mailing out to subscribers this week, we published our 2021 Top 20 Leaders List. Cromwell Media CEO Bud Walters was voted the number one leader in radio by his peers in the industry.

WMYX Milwaukee morning show co-host Elizabeth Kay is recovering after donating a kidney to her mother-in-law. Tuesday night Kay updated listeners on her recovery. That's according to Podtrac which credits iHeartRadio's 560 shows with 257.4 million global downloads and streams during the month of March. NPR, with 47 shows, was second on the Podtrac chart with 186.9 million downloads and streams. Here are the Podtrac top ten for the month.

iHeartMedia has promoted Scott Hogle as its new Market President for Honolulu where the company has an8-station cluster. Hogle started his 30 year radio career at WXRI-FM in Norfolk. He most recently served as SVP of Sales for iHeart Honolulu.

Aubrey Sampson will join Chicago’s AM 1160 (WYLL) Hope For Your Life. She will join Brian From on The Common Good afternoon program.

Jon Crossland, Vice President of Sales for Specialty Data Systems has died. Crossland was 68.

Ricki Sanchez will join the Woody & Jim Show on 107.5 The River, April 26. Sanchez comes over from the syndicated Zach Sang Show where she was co-host and producer.
