‘Gardening Show’ Host Denny McKeown Dies at 81
Denny McKeown, a Cincinnati-based broadcaster whose horticulture show was once syndicated on stations across the Midwest, died on Christmas Day at the age of 81. The cause of death was not immediately known; his passing was first reported by a local newspaper.
WABC Caps Centennial Celebration
Red Apple Media's WABC (770 AM) in New York is wrapping up its centennial celebration. The station first signed on the air in October 1921, and WABC hosts, employees and owners have been celebrating 100 years of broadcasting through the end of 2022.
