Edison to Host Seminar on Gen Z Media Habits
Edison Research will host its first webinar of 2023, with a look at the media consumption habits of "Generation Z." It will focus largely on a study that was presented at the annual PRPD conference that examined the media consumption and sharing habits of young consumers born after 1997.
iHeart Announces ‘Unreformed’ Podcast
iHeartMedia's podcast division is launching a new show that focuses on a school in Alabama and five of its students who had an impactful role in the civil rights movement of the 1960s. The show, Unreformed: The Story of the Alabama Industrial School for Negro Children, will be hosted by Josie Duffy Rice.
Riismandel Joins Signal Hill as Chief Insight Officer
Signal Hill Insights says it has appointed Paul Riismandel as a senior partner and chief innovation officer for the audio research firm. Riismandel joins from SiriusXM's SXM Media, the advertising and sales division of SiriusXM Pandora, where he was in charge of advertising research for podcasts.
Westwood One to Broadcast All NFL Wildcard Games
Cumulus Media's Westwood One will broadcast all six National Football League wild card playoff games during the NFL's Super Wild Card Playoffs week, starting Saturday. Westwood One will offer other playoff games and the Super Bowl between January and February.

Preston Named CEO of KMFA Austin
Capitol Broadcasting's classical radio station KMFA (89.5 FM) in Austin has appointed George Preston as its chief executive officer. Preston will join the station at the end of the month; he will be responsible for the overall strategic, operational, financial, and managerial leadership of the station.
Colorado Public Radio Launches ‘Terra Firma’ Podcast
Colorado Public Radio has launched a new podcast called Terra Firma that couples ambient environmental sound with narrative reflections on nature. The podcast will feature the stories of Indigenous poet CMarie Fuhrman, with outdoor sounds collected in public spaces by Jacob Job.
