Erick Erickson announced on Monday that The Erick Erickson Show has been launched into national syndication by Compass Media Networks. For over a decade, Erickson has been on WSB in Atlanta, recently announcing a multi-year contract extension with Cox.
SiriusXM To Cut 475 Jobs
SiriusXM has announced an 8% cut in its workforce. The move will result in 475 roles being cut across all departments. Sirius CEO Jennifer Witz said the layoffs needed to be made to keep the company profitable.

Beasley Media Group's Detroit Praise Network raised $68,727 during the 2023 Urban Radio Cares Radiothon. The funds raised by 98.3 FM/99.9 FM / 105.9 HD2 benefited St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Pairing Chicago Vets With Dogs
97.1 FM, The Drive (WDRV) in Chicago raised more than $78,000 during its "Give a Vet a Pet" campaign. The "Sherman & Tingle Show" effort on the Classic Rock station will provide five veterans with service dogs.

With the election season coming up, Audacy in Greenville, SC is flipping a couple of FM frequencies for a bigger broadcast footprint. WYRD-FM (106.3 WORD) in Greenville-Spartanburg will flip frequencies with sister station WSPA-FM (Magic 98.9), effective March 28.

MLB Broadcaster Dave Wills Passes
Dave Wills, team radio announcer for the Tampa Bay Rays, has died. Wills spent 18 years in the broadcast booth as the radio voice of the MLB team.
