Pacific Media to Buy KFMN in Kauai
Pacific Media Group has agreed to buy KFMN (96.9 FM) on the island of Kauai. While awaiting FCC approval, Pacific Media says it has entered into a time brokerage agreement that allows it to control sales and programming of the station.
Cumulus Stations Raise over $1 Million for Charity
Cumulus Media's Dallas-Fort Worth country stations KSCS (96.3 FM, New Country) and KPLX (99.5 FM, The Wolf) raised over $1 million for a local children's hospital during a two-day radiothon. The donated funds benefit Cook Children's in Fort Worth.
KRZZ Collects Over $338,000 for Children’s Hospital in Oakland
Spanish Broadcasting's regional Mexican station KRZZ (93.3 FM) in San Francisco collected more than $338,000 for the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital of Oakland during a two-day radiothon. It was the 14th year KRZZ hosted a radiothon to raise funds for the hospital.
