How do you use your audience analytics? There are the obvious applications: Highlight the numbers in media kits and sales presentations and break out demographics on your website. The trouble with this approach is that it doesn’t tell your station’s story.

He has a journalism background, but moved into radio as an executive producer for its bigger platform. We had a conversation about the inspiration behind the service, and staying on top of fast-evolving media platforms. 

Illinois Helps Ukraine, is a fundraising initiative of the Illinois Broadcasters Association, and the Ukrainian Institutes of Modern Art. Broadcasters are running PSA's encouraging people to support UNICEF's humanitarian aid efforts in Ukraine.

Greg & The Morning Buzz, iHeartMedia's New England morning show, will extend its broadcast November 19 and 20. On-air personalities from the morning show will encourage listeners to donate to Lend A Helping Can by calling a station or by participating in an online auction.

The Buyer is Dennis Jones' Radio Jones. The seller is Vidalia Communications. The stations are WTCQ-FM in Vidalia, WYUM-FM in Mount Vernon WVOP-AM in Vidalia. There was also a 250 watt transmitter in the deal which was brokered by Patrick Communications.

(By Randy Lane) Years ago, it was more accepted for big-name personalities to be temperamental, uncooperative divas. In media today, most companies don’t tolerate drama. The only exception is talent who have stratospheric ratings and are generating a sizable percentage of the station’s revenue.

The iHeartMedia Boston NBC10 “One Night Only” concert special featuring Kane Brown, Old Dominion, Kelsea Ballerini,  Jon Pardi, Maren Morris, Lauren Alaina and Jimmie Allen raised over $38,000 to benefit St. Jude  Children’s Research Hospital.

Entercom’s 12th Annual Prisma Health Children’s Hospital Upstate Radiothon has raised $200,945 for the hospital. The funds will help sustain the many programs and services that support children and families during a hospital stay.
