Triton Digital has expanded its Webcast Metrics Monthly Ranker to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The Ranker is a list of the top digital audio stations and networks as measured by the Webcast Metrics streaming measurement service. 

Entercom has entered a multi-platform partnership with community-based traffic and navigation app Waze. The partnership scales across broadcast, digital, and streaming with app integrations on both Waze and Radio.com.

According to an SEC filing, Chief Content Officer Scott Greenstein was paid $19 million in 2018, up from $4.2 million in 2017 (most came by way of stock awards). CEO James Meyer earned $17.6 million in 2018, up from $9.7. And, CFO David Frear made $16 million, up from $3.7 million, courtesy of $9 million in stock awards and $3 million in options.

Sports radio personality Chris “Mad Dog” Russo has signed a four-year contract extension to host Mad Dog Unleashed on SiriusXM's Mad Dog Sports Radio channel. Highlights from Russo's show will also be available as a podcast on Pandora.

One of the legends of American popular music is getting her own SiriusXM channel, for a limited run. The Cher Channel will launch Wednesday, April 17 to coincide with the release of the original cast album from Broadway’s The Cher Show.

The Wrap reports that Netflix is launching a radio station on SiriusXM that will repurpose much of their vast supply of comedy for a new audience in an audio format. The station will be called Netflix Is A Joke Radio and feature highlights from many of Netflix’s original stand-up specials.

On Thursday, SiriusXM and Pandora unveiled Pandora NOW, a music channel created for both SiriusXM subscribers and Pandora listeners. Pandora NOW features new music delivered uniquely to both SiriusXM and Pandora audiences.
