  1. Cromwell Radio like many corporates have been the plague for radio in southern IL. Once being an employee for the group, I can say “disposable diapers” is what we were and at the time I was an experienced veteran in radio for 20 years, and also had built a station. Once we’re crapped & wetted, their done with us. This isn’t the only corporate that pops up with these Radiothons every so often, makes some money for a charity then has a glorious photo taken of the automation operating talents to make them shine like gold. Thanks for wrecking all of what was the good mom & pop stations in my area such as WCBH 104.3, WMCI 101.3, WCRC 95.7, WHQQ 98.9 & WCRA AM just to name a very few. You sure shine with your charities but suck with everything else especially your un talents, crappy employee slave treatment and automated hip hop crap promoting the dead Kidd Kraddick & Kelly Raspberry morning show garbage that’s more of a senseless “Bob & Tom” wannabe talk show along with endless commercials then music. The guy died in 2013. That’s been nearly 9 years ago. Time to let it go! I know it’s work, but figure something new out. None of these stations have anyone that would know how to run a board, that can announce with a good actual seasoned radio voice and back time programming,-and most sound like 19 year old HS kids hoping for this shot in the radio spotlight that are probably just out of college or HS. But thankfully for them the automation computer can do all the work for them. With all the pro jingles, sweepers with a good beat in them, any stations lousy programming can sound so very pro.
