The Broadway Podcast Network has unveiled its third season of the Radio Play Revival series, featuring audio adaptations of classic American plays and literature. This season’s premiere features Eudora Welty’s A Worn Path, with a cast including Corey Hawkins, Phylicia Rashad, Sam Robards, Megan Beard, Kathleen Mulligan, and Kitty Swink.
Radio Play Revival is a homage to the golden era of radio plays, reimagined for modern podcast audiences. Season 3 promises an array of classic works by literary giants like Ernest Hemingway and Langston Hughes. Notable performers for the upcoming episodes include Allison Janney, Armin Shimerman, Aubrey Plaza, Bryan Cranston, Darren Criss, David Zayas, Ed O’Neill, and Neil Patrick Harris, among others.
Series creator Josh Johnston also takes on the role of director, while Patti LuPone and Staci Levine of Groundswell Theatricals are executive producers. Sam Tsoutsouvas continues as host.
