Late last week ESPN Radio's Dan Le Batard went off on management in his local Miami hour when someone -- who was not named on the air -- told Le Batard to stop talking about a story that was in the Miami Herald. Le Batard made it clear that was not going to happen.

This comes as no surprise as the relationship between ESPN and midday host Dan Le Batard seem to grow more confrontational over time. The last public battle erupted last month when Le Batard said he was blindsided when his producer Chris Cote was fired. On Thursday both sides announced they were getting a divorce.

Dan LeBatard and Stugotz are going to be recording and posting two exclusive content podcasts outside of their ESPN Radio show.

In June, and for the fourth consecutive month, ESPN Audio broke its record for the number of podcast impressions with 47.6 million. That's an increase of 63% over the previous June (29.2 million) and it breaks the record set in May (41.2 million). From the ESPN Radio Talk lineup, the Dan LeBatard Show was number one with 5.9 million impressions.

The worst kept secret in radio has finally become official. ESPN has announced that the morning show of Mike Golic & Trey Wingo will be replaced by Keyshawn Johnson (pictured), Jay Williams & Zubin Mehenti beginning August 17.

Marc Hochman has signed a new multi-year contract extension with Entercom Miami sports talker WAXY-AM. Hochman and Channing Crowder host the 2-6 afternoon drive show on WAXY. They are also simulcast on WQAM-AM from 3-6.

A full roster of ESPN talent, along with the regionally syndicated David Glenn Show, is now airing on 92.9 FM/880 AM/1400 AM in Asheville. Previously, iHeart was airing Progressive Talk on 92.9-FM and 880-AM. That format moved over to 101.1-FM.

The full lineup of ESPN Radio programming will be heard on Bonneville's 1600 (KEPN-AM) and 104.3 (KKFN-FM) HD 2, starting Monday, January 4. The station has been carrying Steve Czaban, Dan Patrick, Jim Rome, and programming from NBC Sports Radio.
