ESPN Radio will debut First and Last with Lundberg & Golic Jr., hosted by Robin Lundberg and Mike Golic Jr., on Monday, April 4, at 4 a.m. ET. The two-hour program will recap the previous night’s highlights and delve into the coming day’s stories. It will be preceded by a two-hour edition of SportsCenter AllNight (2–4 a.m.), making ESPN Radio live 24 hours a day on weekdays.

ESPN says its podcasts set a new record in December with a unique audience of 6.9 million. That represents an increase of 43% over December 2018 and is the 12th consecutive month of year-over-year growth.

ESPN Podcasts set a record for a single in September, with 39.3 million IAB compliant downloads, as measured by RawVoice. The number reflects an increase of 50% over September 2017. The previous record for a single month was 36.0 million set in May of this year.

In May, and for the third consecutive month, ESPN Audio broke its record for the number of podcast impressions – 41.2 million, an increase of 35% over the previous May (30.7 million), and breaks the records set in March (38.9 million) and in April (39.0).
