At the IAB Podcast Upfronts Thursday Westwood One announced the launch of The Empow(h)er Podcast Network and will kick it off with nine podcast series. One podcast already running is called “Run Like a Girl” which shines a nonpartisan light on women running for office.
Monster Partnership For iHeart
HowStuffWorks and Tenderfoot TV are partnering with iHeartMedia to launch season two of the podcast Monster: The Zodiac Killer. This follows its debut season in which the show had more than 30 million downloads. Season two will be released in January. iHeartMedia is now the primary distribution partner for the podcast after it was added to the iHeartRadio Podcast Network.
