Kevin Sheehan was part of the morning show on The Team 980 in Washington, DC, when Dan Gilbert owned the station. A few months ago the station was sold to Radio One and changes were made. Sheehan was one of the changes.

Entercom has launched The Silver and Black Podcast, centered on the Oakland Raiders, and Overtime, a San Francisco 49ers-focused show. Both podcasts are available on San Francisco station 95.7 The Game’s (KGMZ-FM) website, 957thegame.com, a part of the Radio.com network, as well as on the Radio.com app.

Stitcher was given a new logo and brand identity, Tuesday. Stitcher has become the primary brand for The E.W. Scripps Company’s podcast operations. Scripps also announced that Stitcher is now the parent company of Midroll (podcast advertising) and Earwolf (comedy network).

Dr. Ronald Hoffman's syndicated health/medical podcast is called Intelligent Medicine. "Our goal when we launched the Intelligent Medicine podcast was to help savvy consumers navigate the bewildering array of health and nutrition options," said Dr. Hoffman.

The cast of The View have announced that the ABC talk show will be available as a podcast beginning Monday, September 10. Each new show will be available by 4 p.m. ET on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, TuneIn, Spotify, Stitcher, and the ABC News app. 

Multiple Daytime EMMY Award winner, media personality, entrepreneur, and bestselling author Gaby Natale can now be heard on her own podcast. Each week, Natale will chat with influential celebrities, experts, and other fascinating people from all walks of life on SuperLatina Con Gaby Natale presented by reVolver Podcasts.

At the IAB Podcast Upfronts Thursday Westwood One announced the launch of The Empow(h)er Podcast Network and will kick it off with nine podcast series. One podcast already running is called “Run Like a Girl” which shines a nonpartisan light on women running for office.

HowStuffWorks and Tenderfoot TV are partnering with iHeartMedia to launch season two of the podcast Monster: The Zodiac Killer. This follows its debut season in which the show had more than 30 million downloads. Season two will be released in January. iHeartMedia is now the primary distribution partner for the podcast after it was added to the iHeartRadio Podcast Network.

The Confessionals is a podcast where witnesses of the unexplained share their stories and encounters. Host Tony Merkel explores the fringe side of life, from Bigfoot to UFOs to paranormal activity, and everything in between. The Confessionals is now available on reVolver Podcasts.
