The Nebraska Broadcasters Association of Broadcasters will welcome Dent Otradovsky into its Hall of Fame on August 14 in Lincoln, during the 84th Annual NBA Convention. Otradovsky is the owner and GM of KVSH-AM in Valentine -- the only station he's worked for in his 49-year radio career. He began at KVSH in 1969 as a DJ. 

The Center for Sales Strategy has announced the promotion of Elissa Blankenship to the role of Head of Sales, North America. Since joining the company in 2021 as the Director of Sales, Blankenship has played a key role in growing CSS' LeadG2 and Up Your Culture.

Q104.3 (WAXQ) NYC has extended the contract for morning show host Jim Kerr. The agreement with the iHeartMedia Classic Rock station runs through 2026.

Jack Taddeo is the new Market Manager of the company’s five-station group in Des Moines. Taddeo joins Cumulus from NRG Media, where he was Market Manager of NRG Media-Cedar Falls/Cedar Rapids.

Programming legend Buddy Kincer, best known as Buddy Scott, passed away on Sunday morning following a brief illness. The news was confirmed by a post on his Facebook page made by a family member.

Leighton Broadcasting has honored Director of Engineering Tony Abfalter as Engineering MVP of 2020. The Minnesota based family/employee owned company recognized Abfalter for his exemplary work during the pandemic shutdown.

KLAL/Little Rock (Alice 107.7) morning show personalities Heather and Poolboy took home top honors for Radio Personalities at the 2018 Arkansas Times Best of Arkansas Awards.

Andy Chanley is headed to the Midwest to join Audacy Chicago's 93XRT (WXRT). He will serve as Music Director and Afternoon Drive Host starting March 11. Chanley previously held the same roles at public AAA station KCSN in Los Angeles.

Rita Cosby has been added to 77 WABC Radio’s weeknight line-up. The Rita Cosby Show will air from 10 PM to Midnight. Cosby was previously at 77 WABC from 2014 to 2018, where she served as Political Editor and host of weekend and midday shows.

On Monday “Shotgun” Tom Kelly makes his debut on SiriusXM’s Channel 6 – Sixties on Six. Kelly will be voicetracking the 4-8 p.m. shift on the sixties on six channel from studios in San Diego.
