Steve Goldstein has been promoted to Senior Vice President Digital Sales Strategy, General Manager 2060 Digital at Hubbard. Goldstein was most recently Senior Director, Digital Sales Strategy.

Chicago’s NPR news station, WBEZ 91.5 FM, will soon have a new voice to wake up to each weekday morning. Longtime Chicago radio broadcaster Mary Dixon has been named the new morning anchor and local host of NPR’s Morning Edition.

Stephen Brown will be joining the WNYC Newsroom as Accountability Editor. Brown has been at the New York Daily News for nearly a decade, most recently serving as the metro editor, managing local news coverage.

After over 51 years of media and radio broadcasting, Paul J Schneider has decided it is time to retire from NewsTalk 670 KBOI/Boise, ID. Schneider moved to Boise and started his career at KBOI in June of 1967.

Colorado Public Radio announced KRCC General Manager Kyle Cunningman has announced he is leaving his position to "find balance in his personal and professional life, and to explore new opportunities." His last day will be March 6.

Bob Shotwell, Alternative Broadcast Inspector and owner of Spectrum Investigative Services, will retire on July 1. Vermont Broadcasters Chip Morgan and Maria Slattery will assume ownership of Spectrum at that time. Shotwell has been associated with Spectrum since 2003.

Miguel “Mijo” Irizarry has been named to the role of Program Director at Power 96 (WPOW-FM) in Miami. Mijo will also host the station’s midday timeslot, weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET. He previously hosted the station’s evening drive.

On Wednesday, Westwood One announced the promotion of Julie Kim from Senior Traffic Director to Vice President, Traffic. Kim began her career in 2003 as a Traffic Coordinator with Premiere Networks.

Hubbard Broadcasting Twin Cities is mourning the loss of longtime KS95 personality Larry "Moon" Thompson, who passed away at the age of 65 due to complications from MS. Moon hosted KSTP afternoons alongside Staci Matthews from 2003 to 2019.

John DiLeo is the new Market President and Chief Revenue Officer for the Danbury, CT Townsquare media cluster. DiLeo comes over from the Hearst Media Group where for the past four years he was VP, Sales at Hearst Media Group, overseeing their local and retail business in the Connecticut region.
