77 WABC Radio has announced it will broadcast a new weekend sports show hosted by Sid Rosenberg, co-host of WABC’s Bernie and Sid in the Morning. The new program, Sid Sports Sunday, will debut on WABC on September 9, 8 a.m.-10 a.m. EST.

Beasley Media Group has promoted Eric Camille to the position of Assistant Program Director of 97.5 The Fanatic (WPEN-FM) in Philadelphia. He began his new position on Friday, August 24.

Midwest Communications has hired Kurt Luchs (pictured) to manage its five stations in Kalamazoo. Luchs recently parted ways with NRG Media where he was managing NRG's seven-station cluster in Omaha. Midwest also announced Mark Jaycox will manage its four-station cluster in Lansing.

At the 2019 Barrett Sports Media Summit in Los Angeles, BSM President Jason Barrett is making sure the contributions of a select few members are permanently remembered. The first award to be announced by BSM is The Jeff Smulyan Award, named after WFAN's founder and the CEO of Emmis Communications.

Brian Paiz has been named Senior VP of Programming for iHeartMedia's Columbus and Albany, Georgia market. Paiz joins iHeart from IBX Media in Greenville, North Carolina, where he was Brand Manager for WRHD-HD2. He also worked for iHeart in Macon. He started his career at WPEG-FM in Charlotte.
