Spanish-language media company Estrella Media has appointed veteran Eddie León as Executive VP of Radio Programming. León will oversee programming at Estrella Media’s 17 radio stations and the Don Cheto Radio Network.

Stan Piatt was a staple in Akron radio for 35 years as host of the WNIR morning show. Piatt’s career began in 1977 at WNIR, where he stayed until his retirement in 2013.
