KKSE/Denver has appointed Dave Tepper as its new Program Director, beginning Wednesday. Tepper joins Altitude 950 following a successful stint as Operations Manager of NRG Media’s five-station cluster in Omaha.

WKYS/Washington, DC, (93.9 FM) is bringing back DJ Quicksilva as the host of the all-new Quicksilva Show. The afternoon show will air on both WKYS/93.9 and Quicksilva’s hometown of Baltimore (WERQ/92Q).

Angela Yee’s popular book club, Kickin’ It from The Stoop (#KIFTS), continues to grow with a new in-store display at Barnes & Noble’s flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York City.  Hosted by The Breakfast Club personality, along with friends Tasha Hilton and Tony Forte, #KIFTS meets monthly at WOODStack Ivy in Brooklyn.

ABC Radio and Skyview Networks recently partnered in a joint syndication effort.  Announced lastweek was the syndication of The Dana Cortez Morning Show. The collaboration is the first result of ABC Radio’s and Skyview Networks’ joint syndication and sales initiative announced April 2018.

Denver’s KOSI 101.1 has promoted afternoon personality Jackie Selby (right) to middays effective immediately. In addition, the station announced that sister station KYGO-FM’s midday personality and market vet Melissa Moore would move over to the afternoon position on KOSI 101.1 on Tuesday, September 4.

Longtime Cleveland radio host John Lanigan quit right in the middle of his WTAM show on Wednesday. Lanigan said he just didn't feel right doing radio anymore, thanked a few people, and went on his merry way. News 5 in Cleveland reported that WTAM PD Ray Davis was caught completely off guard and had to come in and finish the show.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback and NFL Network analyst will join Kevin Harlan in the Westwood One Sports NFL broadcast booth as the new lead color analyst for Monday Night Football and the Super Bowl.

Former Philadelphia 76ers star Charles Barkley joined Mike Missanelli, Natalie Egenolf, and Tyrone Johnson on Beasley Media Group’s 97.5 The Fanatic (WPEN-FM), Thursday. Barkley co-hosted all four hours of the show and talked Philadelphia sports and current events. Barkely appears on the show every year and the station receives great feedback from listeners.

Former San Francisco 49ers defensive end and Super Bowl champion Dennis Brown is the new co-host of KNBR 680/1050’s pregame and postgame coverage for the 2018 NFL season. Brown was part of the 49ers' Super Bowl-winning team in 1995. He served as 49ers television analyst from 2012-2017.

Syndicated personality Delilah returned as a host for the annual Broadway in Bryant Park summer performance series in New York. Presented by affiliate 106.7 LITE FM, Broadway in Bryant Park 2018 takes place at noon every Thursday for six weeks (July 12 – August 16).
