Sun Broadcast Group has signed a syndication deal with  Tejano Nation, a two-hour entertainment news mix show featuring hits and emerging artists in Tejano (a style of folk or popular music originating among the Tejanos, the Mexican-American inhabitants of southern Texas).

Ben Downs, VP/GM of Bryan Broadcasting Corporation, is the new co-chair representing radio at the NABPA, the political action committee of NAB. Downs takes over as chair from William McElveen, Regional President of Alpha Media.

Hubbard announced on Tuesday that Randi West is joining its West Palm cluster as Program Director of WRMF-FM and Party 96.3 (WMBX-HD2). West spent eight years as the PD for WMTX in Tampa, and prior to that she was the PD at WDCG in Raleigh. She replaces Leo Baldwin who exited in November 2019.

Big Radio recently named three new Program Directors to head up the Rock County radio operations of their 10-station group. Historically, the programming of the stations had been directly overseen by father-and-son owners Scott and Benjamin Thompson.

Boston Red Sox flagship station WEEI-FM has announced its play-by-play team for the coming season. Red Sox Hall of Fame announcer Joe Castiglione returns for his 38th season and will be joined by veteran broadcasters Will Flemming, Sean McDonough, and Lou Merloni.
